National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches (NRASTC)

Duration:
What You’ll Learn:
Minimum of 12 hours training
Pool and class management, swimmer supervision, early intervention, rescue techniques, emergency action planning, CPR, and First Aid.
Assessment:
Learners are assessed throughout the course by the trainer and must complete a final independent assessment. This includes verbal theory questions, practical rescue skills, and CPR & First Aid demonstrations.
Price Per Person:
£150 for new, £120 for renewals
This qualification is a professional standard for teachers and coaches and is often a requirement for employers.
