Learn to swim or safe a life - AND have fun!
Why do courses about SUCH essential life skills such as swimming, First Aid and Lifesaving have to be boring?!! We specialise in UNIQUE, FUN and INFORMATIVE classes and courses tailored to individual needs. Courses where children and adults learn because they want to, are interested and know that these courses could make a difference to saving a life!
We designed the AquaPups courses for children as we believe that it’s important that they know the very basics: what to do in an emergency, how to call the emergency services and how they could help save a life.
Lifesaving
We offer lifesaving courses to suit to everyone, from the internationally recognised National Pool Lifeguard Qualification to our own AquaPups course for children.
We feel proud walking in to local leisure centres and seeing lifeguards who we have trained enjoying their jobs and telling us stories of how they have helped people. Some are working abroad, enjoying travelling whilst earning money! We have extra qualifications in the PXB (Pool Extraction Board) and the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) which allow us to add bolt-on sections to the Lifesaving courses or run separate courses to enhance skills and qualifications.
We have been overwhelmed with how much the children take in and how involved they get in the courses. Seeing children perform the recovery position and CPR, know how to rescue someone from drowning and how to call for help is so satisfying and its even better seeing them enjoying their learning!
First Aid at Work
We teach a variety of different First Aid courses depending on what level of qualification is required and who it is aimed towards. We offer both face-to-face and blended learning courses. and they are always practical, involved and good fun!
The full First Aid at Work Course is nationally accredited and is the same qualification as the Red Cross and St John’s offer. This teaches Emergency lifesaving skills and how to deal with non life threatening situations. This qualification lasts for 3 years and we also provide the 2 day renewal course.
We also train the HSE approved Emergency First Aid at Work Course which is a 6 hour course and is aimed to teach lifesaving skills that can be used in and out of the workplace e.g. shops, restaurants, gyms, hotels etc.
For those working with the Early Years such as Nurseries, Schools and Childminders, we offer the Paediatric First Aid courses, teaching the practical skills required to save the life of an infant or child.
These courses follow the syllabus of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and meet the requirements of Ofsted for the Voluntary register.
